Economic Development Group

Working Together to Help South Metro Denver Prosper

Economic Development Group

The South Metro Denver Chamber Economic Development Group (EDG) is a regional organization of executive-level business and community leaders working together to enhance the economic climate of South Metro Denver. The group has its own members and board of advisors who work with Chamber staff to support and implement economic development programming and initiatives. Through strategic economic development initiatives, monthly member meetings, and major annual events, the group is dedicated to sharing information and taking action on issues that most directly affect the economy in our community.

EDG Strategic Priorities
  • Business Retention & Expansion: A primary goal of the EDG is to help businesses thrive. We provide monthly programming around issues and industries critical to the South Metro Denver area.
  • New Business Attraction: The EDG helps attract new business to the region by focusing on programming support and collaboration between partners in emerging markets.
  • Expanded Strategic Partnerships: We work hard to facilitate connections and conversations between Chamber members and regional leaders. These efforts support our business retention, expansion, and attraction efforts.
  • Delivery of Business Information and Connections: The Chamber is a rich resource for regional businesses - especially those who are new to the area. The EDG committee specializes in providing referrals to the Chamber members that will help your business grow.
