Women In Business group

EMPOWERING AND CONNECTING WOMEN

The Women in Business Program

The Women in Business Program Committee (WIB) is a volunteer group of Chamber members whose purpose is to empower women in business. The WIB Program Committee, in partnership with the SMDC, designs and delivers programming that energizes, engages, and elevates women in business. The group's focus includes: creating meaningful events that address real-world issues; providing education and leadership; and creating networking opportunities for both women and men to create valuable business connections.

The Women in Business Program is very active and hosts multiple popular Chamber networking events. In addition to monthly events, this group hosts our annual Premier Event, the Women in Business Conference, which occurs in September and features top speakers on hot topics! While Committee membership is comprised of women, the events are open to ALL members; we encourage and want men to attend!
Women in Business Host These Regular Chamber Events - MEN ARE ALWAYS INVITED!
Please check the Chamber Calendar for specific events as the dates and times of monthly events can vary.

  • Annual Women in Business Conference: The WIB hosts the South Metro Denver Chamber's Annual Women in Business Conference, a ticketed Premier Event in September which connects professional women to distinguished speakers who discuss important issues facing leaders today. Join around 200 attendees at this nearly full-day conference that is great for networking and learning! In This event also includes a delicious lunch, innovative exhibitors and a fun post-event happy hour for making new connections.
  • Morning Momentum - Monthly: Typically hosted the first Wednesday of each month: Doors open at 9:00am. Check-in and networking is 9:00-9:30, and the program is 9:30-10:30 am. Members learn from expert presenters who share top insights and business practices. One of these events each quarter focuses on a business book discussion. Coffee and light breakfast snacks served.
  • Convo & Cocktails - Monthly: Typically hosted the fourth Thursday of each month, 4:00 - 6:00 pm. This is a fun evening networking event that attracts up to 100 attendees depending on the host's venue size. Conversation flows as you make new connections or enhance existing relationships! Light appetizers and cocktails served.
