Jeff Keener
President & CEO
Jeff Keener is the President and CEO of the South Metro Denver Chamber. What began as a small-town Chamber of Commerce has transformed into a key player in the South Denver region: influential in multiple counties and cities with over 700 business investors. The South Metro Chamber celebrates its 100-year anniversary in 2021.
Jeff has been a member of the SMDC since 2012 and served 4 plus years on the SMDC Board of Directors. He was the winner of the SMDC 2012-2013 Leadership in Motion Award and was nominated for the 2013 SMDC Brian Vogt Community Leader of the Year Award. Jeff is a former councilman for the Town of Breckenridge and a former member of the Board of Directors for Colorado Ski Country USA. He has always been an active member of his community, including stints volunteering with the Littleton Hockey and Soccer Associations and one-time President of the Arapahoe High School Lacrosse club.
A native of Wisconsin, he moved to Colorado and Breckenridge in February 1981 and shortly thereafter became the Director of Snowmaking for the Breckenridge Ski Area/Aspen Ski Company. He was responsible for the installation and operation of the first ever snowmaking system at Breckenridge.
Jeff has lived in Littleton, now Centennial, since Spring of 1988 with his wife Mary. They have one son Bryce who lives in Tennessee with his wife Bridget and their two boys Flyn and Kieran. Jeff enjoys cycling, skiing, golf, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
