Ashley Garcia
Event and Program Manager
Ashley Garcia joins the SMDC as the newest Member Engagement and Business Development Executive. To the chamber, she brings her passion for building relationships and making connections within her community to serve as a conduit while creating pathways to help others realize their possibilities.
With over 5 years of Business Development experience, Ashley comes from a financial background working with several Denver Metro credit unions. Formerly a business member of SMDC, Ashley also actively participated in several other Denver Metro chambers. Ashley strives to create a true sense of community and foster business growth through her network, volunteer projects, and her own professional success. She has served as a Board Member for the Erie Chamber of Commerce as well as several non-profit organizations. Through her work with chambers and non-profits, Ashley was named a 2022 honoree for BizWest Boulder Valley 40 Under Forty.
Before working in the financial industry, Ashley spent 13 years in retail sales and management. She studied Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography at Metropolitan State University in Denver.
A Colorado native at heart, Ashley enjoys spending as much of her time outdoors as possible. She is an avid hiker and frequently enjoys kayaking, camping, snowboarding, and making memories with her friends and family. Ashley also enjoys traveling the world and is the first in line for any new adventure. She resides in Thornton Colorado with her partner Daniel, and two children, Brayden 17, and Kyler 15.
