THE TANK
November 4th, 2026 | 5:00 - 9:00pm
Highlands Ranch Senior Center

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 8/14/2026

Picture
The TANK (inspired by the Shark Tank TV show) is a fun annual event in which selected nonprofits pitch their mission or special initiative to a panel of Sharks to earn their donations. This fundraising event also raises money from audience and Chamber donations. The event features four to five Chamber member 501c3 nonprofits who are 'presenters' that pitch on stage to the Sharks. The event also features four to five 'exhibitors' who are selected to have a special exhibit at the event. Nonprofits may apply by submitting this application. This event raises money for your nonprofit and gives you excellent visibility - the most coveted event of the year for our nonprofits. Apply now!

EXAMPLE OF FOUR GIVING TIERS FOR A NONPROFIT OFFERING MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.
In this example, the number of people helped increases as donations increase, motivating Sharks to donate at higher tiers in order to help more people. Get creative and structure your tiers however it works best for you and your ability to achieve the results.
    • Tier 1: $1,000 donation will help 20 people ($50 to help each person)
    • Tier 2: $2,000 donation will help 45 people ($44 to help each person)
    • Tier 3: $3,000 donation will help 70 people ($43 to help each person)
    • Tier 4: $4,000 donation will help 100 people ($40 to help each person, best 'reach' per dollar)
