2. The Nonprofit Fair - Meet the Nonprofits
The Nonprofit Fair occurs yearly in conjunction with a Chamber Business After Hours. It is meant to provide an avenue by which the Chamber nonprofits may connect with the business community in a relaxed and fun setting. Attendees are asked to visit as many nonprofits as possible at the event. Each nonprofit is listed in a passport book which provides a brief description of the nonprofits in attendance, website information for the nonprofit, contact information for the nonprofit, upcoming opportunities and finally it lists which of the 5 key needs that the nonprofit may have at this time. The 5 key needs are: Event Participation, Sponsorships, Volunteers, Join the Board and Donations. Attendees are able to truly connect with the nonprofits by learning about them and finding out how you may help them meet their needs.
