South Metro Denver Chamber Members - Nonprofit Organizations
1. Promoting Nonprofit Organizations to the Business Community and Connecting Nonprofits and For-Profit Businesses.
The goal of the Nonprofit & Business Partnership Group is to fully and intentionally utilize varied communication methods and event resources within the Chamber to provide exposure to the nonprofit Chamber members. This group will also strive to connect Chamber nonprofit members with Chamber for-profit businesses on many levels, including but not limited to, achieving a partnership by which each business receives benefits, shared educational resources among nonprofit and for-profit businesses, best practices shared among all Chamber members, planning events to bolster the knowledge of all members both nonprofit and for-profit, etc. The group strives to create programming and opportunities which facilitate short and long-term partnerships between Chamber members who are both nonprofit and for-profit businesses.

2. The Nonprofit Fair - Meet the Nonprofits
The Nonprofit Fair occurs yearly in conjunction with a Chamber Business After Hours. It is meant to provide an avenue by which the Chamber nonprofits may connect with the business community in a relaxed and fun setting. Attendees are asked to visit as many nonprofits as possible at the event. Each nonprofit is listed in a passport book which provides a brief description of the nonprofits in attendance, website information for the nonprofit, contact information for the nonprofit, upcoming opportunities and finally it lists which of the 5 key needs that the nonprofit may have at this time. The 5 key needs are: Event Participation, Sponsorships, Volunteers, Join the Board and Donations. Attendees are able to truly connect with the nonprofits by learning about them and finding out how you may help them meet their needs.

3. The TANK
This premier annual event for the South Metro Denver Chamber presents an engaging opportunity to celebrate nonprofit Chamber members. Inspired by a popular TV show, this event brings the business and nonprofit sectors of the community together by providing an opportunity for select Chamber nonprofits to present to a panel of Sharks, Angel Fish investors, the business community, guests and supporters. All event participants are encouraged to donate toward the participating nonprofit of their choice through Mighty Cause! Ticket-sale proceeds also benefits all participating nonprofits.
