Leads Groups Eligibility update

MAY 2026 MEMBER NOTICE

We Updated Leads Group Eligibility

Our Chamber leads groups are one of the highest-value business growth opportunities we offer. To strengthen their quality and effectiveness, we have changed the benefit of joining a leads group so that it is now available to business members at the second-tier membership level (Prosperity Partner $1,275) and higher.

Why did we make this change?

Reason #1: it aligns our eligible membership levels with the immense value that a leads group offers.
Our first-tier membership level ($675 Growth Member) already offers one of the best values in Chamber memberships, given the access it provides to over 100 free events and our large membership base. When you consider that a Colorado BNI chapter typically costs over $1,100 for one year – and similar leads groups cost $500 or more – it makes sense to align leads group participation with members who are investing at a level that is fair for the incredible value received.

Reason #2: it encourages higher membership investments and supports our ability to serve ALL members.
We encourage members to upgrade to the Prosperity Partner level to take advantage of leads groups. This unlocks many more benefits (aside from leads groups) that can grow your business. It also increases our operating revenue, and as business expenses increase, we must cover the increasing costs of serving our members. We are a nonprofit, so our goal is not to profit, but to be able to continue offering and improving our full suite of events and resources.

Reason #3: it will ensure our leads groups offer a premium business development experience.
This change enhances the value of our existing and future leads groups. The higher membership level investment serves to increase the commitment of leads group participants, helping to maximize the quantity of referrals and sales revenue generated. By maintaining leads groups as a high-value experience, the groups will, in turn, deliver more value to members.

What are the details and how does this affect our members?

  • Business and municipal/government Chamber members may now apply to join a leads group at the second-tier $1,275 Prosperity Partner membership level or higher.
  • If you are a first-tier $675 Growth Member business and you wish to join a leads group, we’ll upgrade your membership to the Prosperity Partner level on a pro-rated basis when a leads group opening becomes available. You may retain your leads group spot as long as your membership remains at the Prosperity Partner level or higher and you abide by the guidelines of your group.
  • Nonprofit members may continue to apply to join a leads group at the $675 Growth Member level.

Current Leads Group Members: Guaranteed to Retain Spot at Growth Member Level Through 2027
If you are a $675 Growth Member business and you are already in a leads group, you may remain in your group at the Growth Member level without upgrading your membership until January 1st, 2028 at the earliest (you are ‘grandfathered in’ through December 31st, 2027). Starting in January 2028, you may be asked to upgrade to the Prosperity Partner level upon your next annual membership renewal date. Your membership dues are separate from your leads group status; regardless of leads group status, ALL members are subject to annual dues increases that may be implemented by the Chamber as needed to cover increasing business costs.

Our goal is simple: create leads groups that deliver greater long-term value and business growth for both our participating members and the Chamber so that we can continue to offer our members MORE, not less. This decision was very carefully considered and weighed, and will ultimately make us a stronger Chamber for the benefit of all membership levels.

If you have any questions, please contact your Member Representative, or the Chamber at [email protected].
