Mike Sutherland sworn in as Mayor Pro Tem

​Centennial District 3 Council Member Mike Sutherland will serve as Mayor Pro Tem from March 2, 2020 until March 1, 2021. This position is elected annually and serves mayoral functions during any temporary absences of the Mayor. 
 
Council Member Sutherland has practiced law since 1984 and is the Benefits Counsel for the Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado. He serves as a liaison to a number of community organizations and committees, which include: 

•          Centennial Planning and Zoning Commission (former chair)
•          Centennial Fiber Commission Chair

• South Metro Fire Rescue Authority
•          Legislative Action Committee Chair, South Metro Denver Chamber
•          Colorado Bar Association Professionalism Council
•          Arapahoe County Bar Association
•          St. Thomas More Catholic Parish
