The Denver Business Journal revealed which companies were metro Denver’s Best Places to Work for 2018. Many members of South Metro Denver Chamber were celebrated at the event. Companies were awarded based on 10 key engagement categories focusing on team effectiveness, trust of senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits.
South Metro Denver Chamber member’s include:
WhippleWood CPAs is ranked No. 8 in the Denver Business Journal’s 2018 Best Places to Work awards in the “small” category. The accounting and tax firm offers “Half Day Fridays,” free massages during tax season, firm happy hour, a tax season stress relief event and walking meetings.
Colorado Farm Bureau ranked No. 6 in the “small” category. The agriculture-focused nonprofit covers health costs for all its employees and has open work areas with standing desks.
MassMutual Colorado is ranked No. 2 in the “large” category. The life insurance company sponsors food and clothing drives and takes its employees on outings like go-kart racing and golf.
Liberty Oilfield Services ranked No. 4 in the “x-large” category. The hydraulic fracturing services company offers a flexible paid-time-off plan, regular company outings and a culture club.
Savills Studley is ranked No. 5 in the “small” category. The commercial real estate services firm says it has a “no jerks allowed” culture.
