Two local IT managed services companies become one; add CEO
September 18, 2015 – NexusTek, a leading Denver-based managed IT services and business software consulting services firm, announced today they have acquired the assets of Illumen. The former CEO of Illumen, J. Michael Jenner, will move into the role of CEO at NexusTek.

Legislation will very soon be in session, and the Chamber is excited to announce its annual Legislative Action trip to D.C., co-hosted with the Colorado Business Roundtable. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact in Washington and on your business. It’s your chance to interact directly with policymakers, White House officials, and Chamber members.
The trip’s mission is twofold: to educate and empower Chamber members, and to represent the voice of the south metro Denver business community at the Capitol. We will be speaking with senior White House Officials about Infrastructure, International Trade, the Department of Defense, and Energy. These dynamic conversations will be inspiring, motivating, and spark change.
The trip will begin in the morning on Tuesday, November 3, and commence Thursday evening. The Dove Valley Metropolitan District (DVMD) has been in existence since February 1984 and encompasses approximately 2,072 acres. The service area is strategically located in Arapahoe County and the City of Centennial, adjacent to Douglas County within proximity to the Denver Tech Center, Centennial Airport, DIA; adjacent to premier communities and school districts of Colorado, making it an ideal location to live, work, and play.
Access is just east of I-25 and Centennial Airport, south of Arapahoe Road, west of US-83/Parker Road, and north of E-470. The Chamber’s 6th Annual Conference was wildly successful
Hundreds of women gathered at Infinity Park Event Center for the conference on Tuesday, September 1, with the intent to be inspired as leaders in their professions, homes, and communities. The program kicked off with emcee Denise Plante of “Colorado and Company” and KOSI 101.1 dazzling the audience while they listened to five incredible speakers.
Susan Morris, Maureen Shul, Melissa Risteff, Jillian Gibbs, and keynote Jacqueline Hinman each had powerful presentations, unique and valuable, with one underlying theme: keys to successfully being a woman in business. All five presenters brought up the importance of having a mentor in your career life, while also being a mentor to someone else.
There was a breakout session in the afternoon, covering topics such as adding humor into your marketing, why determination is crucial for personal success, and the fine line between love and hate in customer service. This all-day conference united women in the South Metro and Denver Metro area, leaving them with thoughts about goal-setting, how to get to where you’re going, and what’s actually important to your personal journey. Awards were presented to:
