Commissioner Susan Beckman speaking to EDG membersCurrent Legislative Briefings
Thru the Chamber's Legislative Review Committee, we provide EDG members regular briefings on legislative initiatives that affect the business community.  In addition, the EDG serves as an advisory body to the Chamber Board, which frequently takes positions on relevant pending legislation.

Relocation Assistance
Thru regional partnership and our proprietary “South Metro Living” guide, we provide support to both new companies and new residents in making a successful transition to working and living in our community.

Retention Support Services
Our most valuable economic asset is our existing businesses.  As such, we are constantly surveying our existing business leaders in the community to assess and explore opportunities that will result in a sustainable and healthy economy.

Events & Visitors Bureau
With its own board of directors, the Bureau promotes economic development through the large number of hotels, restaurants, retail and entertainment attractions in the south metro corridor.  By coordinating efforts between our various members and leveraging existing events and attractions, the Bureau’s ultimate goal is to generate tourism activity from business people, visitors and local residents.

Local Government Access
Centennial Business Rountable discussionThru activities such as the monthly Centennial Business Round Table, we strive to connect the business community with local representatives to share information and seek cooperative solutions to the many issues facing business leaders today.

Leadership Opportunities
Because of the scope of the EDG in terms of its activities and membership, we offer members a unique opportunity to practice our “Leadership in Motion” motto.
