Chamber Connectors

The Egg & I Ribbon Cutting Like most Chambers of Commerce, the South Metro Denver Chamber has an internal ambassador and volunteer group. At the South Metro Denver Chamber, this group is known as the “Chamber Connectors.” The Chamber currently offers over seventy programs and services, so it is not difficult to imagine how much effort is required to support this ambitious schedule - especially when it is being offered to many hundreds of investor companies representing tens of thousands of employees. As Chamber Connectors, we are utilized to augment Chamber staff and assist in putting on these many events.

The task we are best known for is that of good will ambassador. We greet and mix with attendees at various events, making them feel welcome and comfortable. New investors are encouraged to look for our purple “Connector” ribbons, if they are ever feeling out of place at an event. Connectors are likewise trained to look for and engage with people who might be lost in the crowd. We are there to connect people!

Depending on your availability and the specific business areas of interest you might have, there are many Connector activities which might appeal to you. We support all of the Ribbon Cuttings, Business After Hours and Unplugged events. Connectors also help investors with Chamber orientation and relations. We are the eyes and ears of the Chamber and our members are often asked to lead, participate and serve on other committees within the Chamber.

Chamber Connectors

In short, the Connectors are called upon to strengthen the resources of Chamber staff, wherever needed. In this role, Connectors come into contact with many more investors than they might normally meet. If you enjoy leadership and community involvement, the Connectors may be of interest to you.
