The South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce Expo 2010 features a full day of celebrating, connecting and learning about how to increase their businesses’ potential in today’s marketplace. For many people in Denver, being a part of the 2010 Expo will possibly be a major turning point for their businesses. The Expo features a full day of celebrating, connecting and learning about how to increase their businesses’ potential in today’s marketplace. The day will begin with an open Board of Director’s Meeting from 7:30 to 9:00 and will be your chance to see the Chamber leaders in action. Listen to issues, ask questions and get involved in how the Chamber works... after all, its Your Chamber!

At 9:00, businesses will put themselves in the spotlight in a fun “Showtime” themed Business Trade Show.The Denver Business Journal, Denver’s leading business-to-business publication, is this years presenting sponsor. With over 100 exhibitors, the show offers something for everyone who is looking for an edge over the competition. Themed booths will be judged by the expo attendees and prizes awarded at the afternoon Business After Hours.

The 89th Annual Volunteer Awards Luncheon will take place the same day from 12:00 to 1:30 pm in the Marriott DTC banquet room. The Chamber will honor volunteers of the year with the honors divided among various Chamber business groups. Honorees to be announced and celebrated include The Chamber Volunteer of the Year, EDG Volunteer of the year, SBDC Volunteer of the year, EVB Volunteer of the Year and Chamber Connection Volunteer of the year. A special award for the “Not your Ordinary Volunteer” of the Year and others will also be announced. Nobody but the committee knows who the awardees are (and they are not talking) so it could be you! Make sure your there for this very special and fun occasion.

The Luncheon will also serve as the Chamber’s Annual Meeting where the incoming board members are introduced to the membership and outgoing board members are recognized for their service to the Chamber. These gatherings are always upbeat with plenty of spark and humor. Join us for this chance to celebrate community and connections. After all, that is what the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce is all about.
