Centennial has been named the ninth best city in the nation for first-time homebuyers, according to a recent study by WalletHub.
WalletHub’s analysts compared 300 cities of varying sizes across 19 key metrics, from housing affordability to real estate taxes to property crime rates. Centennial was No. 9 overall for first-time homebuyers and No. 6 among small cities in the same category. Centennial’s property-crime rate ranked sixth and its median home-price appreciation was 13th.
Three other Colorado cities also made the top 10: Greeley came in at No. 2, Thornton at No. 3 and Longmont at No. 6.
